I heard back from the Avaya lawyer I contacted regarding the list of retirees who had not cashed their checks. For privacy reasons, they are not permitted to release the list. She did confirm, however, that Avaya will be attempting to contact each of the individuals by phone at their last known phone number over the upcoming weeks.
